ZET (Zagreb public transport)
While in Zagreb, you can use fast and cheap public transportation (trams and buses). One way ticket costs 10 kn, daily ticket is 30 kn and weekly ticket is 150 kn.
Using this link you can find a public transportation map. If going tocity centre – main square (Bana Jelacica square), please use trams 11 or 12 in both ways.
ZAGREB AIRPORT
If traveling by plane and you want to save some money, you can use an airport bus which will take you to main bus station for 30 kn. Timeschedule can be found HERE.
When you have reached main bus station, you can take trams no. 5 or 7 to Masiceva street (for apartments AS2 & AS3) or Jordanovac street (apartment AS1).

Zagreb nightlife
No mather how young you are or you ‘feel’, Zagreb nightlife has the perfect entertainment for you, especially during the weekend. Zagreb night pulse is concentrated mainly in the city centre where most bars and clubs are located. During the summer, Jarun is the place to hang out.

There are a couple of places in Maksimir and in city centre which we are very fond of and regurarly visit again and again. Gastronomy has never been more rich in Zagreb, and numerous bars and restaurants are open each day due to rising demand for excellent and affordable food & drinks.

PARK MAKSIMIR
Beautiful city park which is a mere 10 minutes walking distance from our apartments has opened its door in 1794. on an initiative of bishop Maksimilijan Vrhovac. This park has 316 hectar of thich forest with lots of trails for running, bike riding or walking. It is considered as one of the largest parks in Europe.

UPPER TOWN
Oldest part of Zagreb is situated on two hills – Kaptol and Gradec (Grič) which represent a true spirit of our town. Gradec has been acknowledged as a free city in 1242., and during a process of building surrounding walls we nowdays have a visible border for the Upper Town:

LOWER TOWN
Nowdays Zagreb city centre lies below Upper Town. Main city square is a true must visit location because everything starts from this location. We suggest you take some time exploring romantic streets of Lower town which are full of nice caffe’s, restaurants, bars, shops…
